You are what you read…

To celebrate World Book Day, we thought we would share some of our recommendations for the best business books to be inspired by and to learn from. One of our key lessons when coaching clients is that in order to have and do, you need to be able to BE who you need to be.

In the morning, what do you read? Do you read the news, the newspaper, a magazine or the gossip channels?  How does that start your day off?  Do you start your day off feeling inspired and empowered to be the best or is it more the feeling of concern and fear?

What if you were reading, or listening to inspirational books about winning at business and life? Or before you go to sleep, reading about success, setting and achieving goals – imagine the type of dreams you would have!

As part of our business coaching programme we encourage our clients to read at least 1 book a month.  If you want to be a millionaire – study, read and learn from millionaires. If you want to be the best marketing manager – study from other businesses who inspire you, read white papers, books and blogs about the latest marketing trends, successful campaigns and the lessons from them.

Personal development is the key in coaching and the best way to develop yourself is to read.

Here’s our thoughts on the best business books you should be reading:
